Freshwater Trip Report April 2008
9 vehicles set off with 37 people aboard to Freshwater NP Via Cooloola Way to Kings Bore track and then on to the beach. The vehicles ranged from Rodeo’s to Nissans to Tojo’s and even a Jeep enjoyed the trip. Experienced a spot of rain in the rainforest but the day overall turned out great.
Travelled to Freshwater day area for lunch which was shared with the local Goanna. Did a spot of fishing on the beach with one catch and plenty of pippies to be found. Kids enjoyed a splash among the waves too.
As we headed home Edgar was snatched off the beach. We decided not to take any detours this time, but a couple of vehicles took a pitstop at hungry jacks though.
